We finally made it to Cork yesterday, and it was cold and raining hard. By the time we ate at this nice (and delicious!) sandwich shop called the Liberty Grill, everything in the city was closed. Things close around 5 or 6pm here, which is crazy when you come from the land of the 24-hour Walmart.
We went back to the hotel (which was majorly fancy -- 4 star!) and slept for a while, got up and ordered room service (french fries and ice cream), and slept some more. Now we're on our way to Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone.
